This is What a 2.27 Second F1 Pit Stop Looks Like

Watch the Williams Racing pit crew turn around the FW38 of Felipe Massa in a blistering 2.27 seconds. The pit stop was the fastest time at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and you can see the rest of the fastest pit stops for every F1 race this year, here.

Believe it or not, the fastest pit stop time ever recorded was back in 2013 by Red Bull Racing with an incredible time of 1.923 seconds! The video above however has superior footage of the actual pit stop and really captures the tremendous teamwork and coordination involved.
