We’re Now One Step Closer to the Hoverboard
Franky Zapata, founder of Zapata Racing, recently unveiled his latest invention, the ZR Hoverboard. According to their press kit, the device can soar up to 16 ft (5 meters) above the water and approach speeds of 25 mph (40 km/h).
The Hoverboard is a surf board that is attached to a PWC (Personal Watercraft) which provides the hoverboard with propulsion through the air; which is routed through the primary nozzle that is attached to the board. The thrust from the PWC is routed through an 60 ft (18 m) hose. ZR Hoverboard is basically a wakeboard on steroids that uses a rear-mounted water jet to speed you along.
