Last year Socality Barbie appeared on Instagram. The parody account poked fun at the #authentic #hipster lifestyle and aesthetic that has become so pervasive on Instagram. 137 posts and 1.2 million followers later and the account was shuttered permanently.

It was only a matter of time before another creator resurrected the wildly popular idea, and @barbiesavior was born.
