There is a “cat cafe” down the street from me that allows customers to drink coffee and pet cats that are up for adoption, but I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of something like this before…
A woman named Hadeel posted a viral TikTok video showing a cafe that has some unexpected visitors in the bathroom…cats in cages!
The text overlay on her video reads, “This cafe is wild for having a cat audience while you use the restroom.”
Hadeel’s camera panned around the bathroom and viewers can see the cats in cages not too far from the toilet.
She said, “What the hell?”
The video was shot in Houston, Texas at El Gato Coffeehouse Cat Cafe.
The cafe’s website says, “Our collective mission is to adopt Houston rescue cats. We provide a comfortable environment for adoptable cats until they find their furrever home. If guests aren’t looking to adopt, they can enjoy cat therapy, which also helps socialize the cats.”
