Sometimes, people don’t realize their hygiene habits are causing them to smell bad.

So, what would you do if your partner kept complaining about strange odors in their bed and towels, but their hygiene routine might actually be the reason?

Would you bring it up and risk hurting their feelings?

Or would you just let them figure it out on their own?

In the following story, one woman faces this dilemma with her husband and wonders if she’d be in the wrong for suggesting a simple fix.

Here’s what’s going on.

WIBTA if I told my husband he is bathing wrong?

I (31F) and my husband (31M) have been together for a total of 2 years but have known each other for about 20 years.

He has been complaining that his side of the bed smells and his towel smells.

I am very diligent in changing the sheets every 2 weeks, if not every month, and wash towels diligently as well.

She wants to say it nicely.

He doesn’t use any loofa or washcloth to bathe, just his hands with a bar of soap…. I have been told that could be why when he sweats he doesn’t smell great.

I’m trying to figure out how to say it nicely without being mean because I know it could hurt his self-esteem.

So, I’m thinking about giving him a loofa or something and saying you stink because you don’t use this kind of stuff.

AITA?

Yikes! This could go either way.

Let’s see what advice Reddit readers have to offer.

Here’s some great advice.
