Sometimes kids don’t ask for a lot, but their parents still fail to provide what they’re asking.

Imagine being in a kid living in a crowded house, and then another person moves in. Would you deal with it, or, wanting your space, would you look for somewhere else to live?

This girl shares how she simply wanted some privacy, so she turned to her grandparents. Was that the right decision?

Check out the full story.

AITA for not wanting to be home as much after my sister’s best friend moved in?

I (15F) have two siblings, a brother (9M) and a sister (19F) so I am the middle kid.

Recently, my sister’s bestfriend (20F) moved in because her apartments rent was unmanageable from what I was told.

Things have been a little rough…

My house is a 3 bed 1 bath, we made another room into a room which is where my sister stays. There is a futon that her friend is staying on.

Don’t get me wrong, she isn’t rude and we get along amazingly but have 5 people living in a house not big enough for it and with only bathroom is so crowded.

My parents are split so they can always stay over at my mom’s but never do.

I don’t speak to my mom much because her work schedule and mine don’t really work together but we are not on bad terms or anything.

She doesn’t like the arrangement!

Now the obvious thing people would say is, “Why not stay over there?”.

This would be an amazing idea but sadly I cannot sleep much over there just because I live in the basement and when she wakes up to get ready for work it keeps me from her footsteps.

She simply wants peace!

So, to counter that I stay with my grandparents a lot, and they enjoy having me there.

I am there a lot in the summer regardless, but my dad doesn’t like it and gets annoyed when I ask.

I just want my space and not to feel so crowded by everything.

YIKES! That’s a tricky situation!

It’s too bad the house is so crowded, but it’s great that she gets time with her grandparents.
