His Neighbors Argued Over Property Lines—So He Let Them Plant a Row of Trees Before Revealing the Real Boundaries

And the story you’re about read is a perfect example of what I’m talking about!
Take a look at what happened when some pushy, rude neighbors decided to take things into their own hands…when they should’ve just kept things the way they were.

Property Wars: Palm tree edition.
“Growing up, our neighbors were very obsessive about having the most beautifully manicured neighborhood/street in town.
It was a new development with lots of land (at least a football field distance between each house). Also a lot of wooded area behind the homes.
My family had professional landscapers at our house once a week and to be fair, we had the most well maintained home in the neighborhood.
Well, one day after the landscapers left, our neighbors confronted us at our door.
Oh, boy…
They were raising their voice at my 6’4” 245 pound dad saying that our grass was mowed too close to their property line.
He stayed calm and listened to our angry neighbor and explained that our property line is actually much further into what they consider to be their yard.
The next day, we saw trucks pulling up the street and a whole crew of guys planting these GIANT fancy trees exactly where the neighbors said their property line is.
Hahahaha.
My dad went out and bought a bunch of plastic palm trees and put them all along our property line.
The neighbors LOST IT.
Became totally irate.
Saying how we were making the neighborhood look cheap, that the plastic palm trees were on their property…my dad just listened while they screamed.
Take a look at this!
Then he pulled out the town hall records showing the property lines and said, “thanks for the new trees! They’re beautiful! We’ll save the palm trees for our next pool party.
Just got a new sound system too! Hope you don’t mind listening to Tom Jones!””
