First impressions matter, and some people manage to blow theirs in record time.

A couple excited to see who’d bought the house next door watched their new neighbor pull into the driveway, only for him to walk straight to the side of his brand-new home and urinate on it before setting foot inside.

This wasn’t some secluded property out in the middle of nowhere either, it was a tightly packed HOA neighborhood full of windows, yards, and people who could see everything.

With a working bathroom just feet away inside the house he’d just bought, there wasn’t exactly a good excuse available.

Some first impressions are hard to walk back.

New neighbors first order of business was marking his territory.

Our old neighbors recently moved out, and they were quiet, respectful, and kept to themselves.

Considering some of the other nonsense we deal with in our neighborhood, my husband and I were really hoping the people who bought their house would be decent neighbors too.

But of course, this isn’t how reality actually played out.

So when the new homeowners showed up after getting their keys, we naturally peeked out the window just to see who was moving in.

Within minutes of pulling into the driveway, before they had even gone inside the house, the man walked around to the front-side corner of his brand-new home, whipped it out, and started urinating directly on the house.

The homeowner could hardly believe what she was seeing.

I genuinely cannot understand the thought process. You JUST got the keys to your new home and your first order of business is to urinate on the side of it??

Mind you, this is basically a public street.

And this isn’t a secluded property in the middle of nowhere. It’s a tightly packed HOA neighborhood with houses, yards, windows, and neighbors all around you. There are bathrooms literally feet away inside the house you just bought.

This definitely didn’t make for a great first experience for this neighbor.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like “don’t whip it out and pee on the front corner of your house where your new neighbors can see you” is a pretty low bar for basic decency.

Needless to say, our first impression of the new neighbors isn’t exactly great.

Some people save their questionable decisions for special occasions, and this guy picked move-in day.

Reddit is sure to get a kick out of this one.

This neighbor is simply showing them exactly the type of person he is.

When you look at it from the bright side, their neighbor actually saved them a great deal of time here.

This neighbor is bound to continue to cause problems in the neighborhood.
