She Witnessed a Frightening Domestic Violence Situation Next Door — And Called the Police

If you ever think you have bad neighbors, just know that someone somewhere probably has neighbors that are even worse.
The neighbors in this story are so bad they’re scary. I’m seriously worried that someone is going to get hurt.
The person who wrote the story knew enough to call the police, but she’s not sure that’s going to end up making the chaos next door stop.
The real drama is between the neighbor’s adult daughter and her ex.

Neighbour and their whole family making area unsafe
Just last week I had to send an email to local agencies, regarding domestic events happening at their house.
The adult daughter (who previously threatened me on camera) has an ex who often comes to their house, as he often picks up their young daughter.
Sometimes its civil sometimes not.
Yikes! The ex sounds crazy!
Hes made death threats out loud and threaten to call social services previously before which I reported to Peabody Housing and the police community officers.
Most advise I got from them was to stay out of their way, let the crazy happen so to speak.
Now again couple days ago, I hear doors slamming quite loudly. So I check the ring camera.
Adult daughter is outside screaming her head off at the her ex, repeatedly making threats at him ” I am gonna mess up your sister!” (literally all their interactions is outside.)
This is some unhinged chaos!
He goes off and comes back again.
This time he is kicking their front door in. Screaming about domestic stuff etc.
To note, for one reason or another, their front door has been kicked in and they often have to replace it from damage (another random guy came doing the same thing while carrying a shiv, referring to the adult daughter about hurting another girl…?)
So adult daughter is now screaming and ex goes away.
Time to get the police involved.
Given the history, I definitely call the police and explain what happened.
I am also texting another neighbour whos seeing this, where previously the adult daughter assaulted them and the adult son trashed their car (hes being released from prison in a matter of months due to this.)
Police came and took their statement.
She doesn’t sound hopeful that anything will change.
As usual, I emailed their housing association, council and community police officers aswell.
Heard nothing back yet.
I dont think I will be privy to what the end result is but I am so tired from this.
If the ASBO multi agency report I submitted ends up with nothing happening then I dont know what to do other than to keep calling the police every time something happens.
I really worry that someone is going to get hurt. Even if the threats are just words, it’s still scary.

Everyone seems to agree that calling the police is key.
Getting CPS involved is a good idea. I’m not sure their child is safe with the dad considering how crazy and angry he’s behaving.
It’s too bad to have to deal with so much drama in the neighborhood, but calling the police every time is the only way there’s any chance that anything will change.
Remaining anonymous is key too.
I hope the police can restore the peace.
