This is the good stuff!

A veteran waitress named Chelsie was nice enough to share tips for people who are just getting started in the serving game.

Her first tip was all about what to do if you have to call in sick for a shift.

Chelsie said, “Tell everybody the same lie. You never know when something’s gonna slip–people are back and forth all day.”

Good to know!

Chelsie also said you shouldn’t talk about people “at all” because, “You never know who’s dating or siblings. I worked with this couple for like six months, didn’t know they were dating.”

If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant before, you know she’s definitely not lying about that one.

And then she talked about the back-of-house staff and said, “If you get into an argument with a cook, never under any circumstances ever in your life eat there again” and then she shared a pretty alarming example that proves why you shouldn’t do this.

Chelsie also said it’s important to NEVER throw customer’s tickets.

She said, “This literally happened to me yesterday. I wrote down somebody’s order, didn’t put it in, threw the ticket away, and 30 minutes went by before I realized.”

Chelsie said she had to dig through trash in order to find the ticket and she said, “My boss had to go back out to the table and had to tell them a lie that the computer crashed. Whatever you do; never throw your tickets away.”

And one final important piece of wisdom: she told viewers to be honest and genuine with their tables.
