Some people think they can get away with anything these days

And this fella sure sounds like one of them!

But he had another thing comin’!

Check out what happened in this story from Reddit’s “Petty Revenge” page.

A customer ate a donut while shopping, so I charged him for three.

“Back when I was a cashier in a grocery store, I was going about my business checking, when a guy approaches with only a can of Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

He wasn’t gonna get away with it!

Right as he’s getting ready to put his card in the reader, the check stand phone starts ringing and it’s my manager on the opposite side of the front end.

She tells me she saw him eating a donut earlier.

That’ll teach him!

He didn’t mention any donut, so as a punishment for his dishonesty, I charged him for three.

Unfortunately right after his card processed he walked off, so he didn’t get his receipt and couldn’t see what I’d done.”

Let’s see what readers had to say about this.

Reddit wasn’t having it, though.
