His Father Warned the Company About a Major Problem—They Laid Him Off Instead of Listening, So His Son Made Sure They’d Regret It

Loyalty to a company can quickly change after unfair treatment.
In this story, a man shared how his dad got laid off after years of warning his company.
The moment he witnessed how Wells Fargo ignored his dad’s advice and then let him go, he decided to take action.
He closed most of his accounts but kept one credit card that quietly cost the company a few cents every month.
Petty, huh? Now, check out the full details below to find out more.
I force Wells Fargo to mail me a statement that will always be zero.
My dad worked for Wells Fargo for over 20 years on the call center side.
He managed a team that forecasted call volume for all call centers Wells Fargo had.
They had trouble staffing overnight with Americans, so they opened a call center in the Philippines.
Their day shift is our night shift. It seemed perfect. That was until Wells Fargo did what they do best.
This man’s dad ended up being right.
They got greedy. They wanted to maximize their profits.
They slowly started closing down American offices. They opened new ones in the Philippines.
My dad warned them over and over again. He said they were going to have scheduling issues.
They ignored his warnings. He ended up being right.
But instead of listening to the dad, he got fired.
Wells Fargo ran into huge staffing issues. What was his reward for being right? He was laid off.
I was so mad at them. I cancelled all my accounts except my credit card.
The reason I did not cancel my credit card is because it is my oldest line of credit.
I did not want my credit score to be impacted.
So, he decided to execute a petty comeback.
I went online.
I made sure any recurring charges and subscriptions were on my new accounts at a local credit union.
While I was online, I also switched statement delivery from e-delivery to mail delivery.
Wells Fargo now pays to send me a monthly statement for a credit card I never use.
It has been almost two years now. Screw you, Wells Fargo.
Now, that’s what you call a petty move with a purpose.
It’s small but kind of satisfying in its own way. I would have the same thing, I guess. Lol.
