A Neighbor Left Their Unattended Cats to Invade Her Property—and She’s Tired of the Endless Crying and Spraying

Stories like this really bum me out…
Because there are a whole lot of irresponsible pet owners out there and the ones who suffer in the end are those poor kitties and puppies.
And I’m of the opinion that this woman’s neighbor should not own any animals.
FULL STOP.
Check out what she had to say about this frustrating situation.
My neighbour has 2 cats that are constantly screaming on my property and peeing.
“My neighbour has two male cats that are not neutered.
The first one was very quiet and I did not mind that he was often in my backyard just wandering about.
Things definitely changed…
But they got a second one that now screams multiple times a day and the second one joins in, I assume they are looking for a female.
This happens at 4 PM, 10 PM, 3 AM, etc. It’s random and usually 2-3 times MINIMUM per day.
Ugh!
Sometimes I am asleep and then suddenly the cat is screaming outside my window and wakes me.
I already tried to talk to the neighbours and they will not talk to me. I don’t really know them in the first place but when I attempted to talk to them, they refused.
I assume they know the cats are on my property most of the time, since they basically don’t go home at all. They both have collars so I know it isn’t a street cat or coincidence that the 2 are together.
I am not sure what to do.
Now what…?
I did not choose to adopt 2 screaming cats and they also mark/pee on my property and the smell is becoming a problem and my dog is getting irritated and barking a lot about it all.
Unfortunately I live in a country where this is not taken very seriously by anyone hence why they won’t even talk to me.
Someone suggested to trap and relocate the cats far away but that seems kind of mean to the cats.
I don’t really know what to do about it.”
