Imagine having a neighbor accuse you of stealing something from them even though you didn’t. How would you prove that you’re innocent and get them to leave you alone?

In this story, one woman is in this situation, and she’s pretty stressed out about it. The police even got involved.

She really just wants to be left alone instead of being accused of something she didn’t do.

Keep reading for all the drama.

Neighbor dropped her 50 dollars on the ground in the parking lot accused me of stealing it, police involved

Neighbor F30s accused me F30 of stealing her dropped money in parking lot where we park our cars.

I pulled up to park after getting coffee this morning she’s outside in her car she asks me if I have seen her 50 dollars

I said no I haven’t but if I found it I would let her know

I go inside give the coffee to my bf and I took my dog out

The neighbor sounds crazy.

While i was taking my dog out, she was banging on my door, and when my boyfriend answered, she was saying that I stole her money and kept accusing me of stealing her money.

He said that I didn’t steal her money, and if I found money on the ground I would’ve told him.

She continued accusing me and was clearly upset. She then asked “where did I get the money for the coffee then?”

Like What?? She thinks I don’t have money to buy coffee in the morning? Just so odd all around and honestly a crazy thing to ask ..

Yikes! This is escalating quickly!

My boyfriend called her a witch and she called me a jerk.

My boyfriend went to apologize for calling her a witch, and just wanted to squash it and say I wouldn’t take anybody’s money.

She then slammed the door on his face and said that she was calling the police.

The police came here and basically asked what’s going on and if I took her money.

She was so distraught!

I told him no up and down.

And they said OK we’re going to check the cameras.

So I said OK great please check the cameras.

They kept using the word if I stole her money and I just broke down and started crying because I just felt like I was being accused for something I didn’t do because he used the word “if” at least 4 times.

Kudos to her boyfriend for backing her up!

Finally, my boyfriend says listen she said she didn’t do it. You don’t need to keep saying “ if”

And I said please go check the tapes.

So they did and they told her obv

Then her husband comes home from work, and find me on my porch and again comes right up to my home and ask about the altercation that happen with his wife.

She tried to explain what happened.

I said she accuse me of stealing.

He immediately wanted to talk to my boyfriend and was very angry.

I said the cops were already called. I didn’t take her money. You guys can watch the cameras. This is over please stop harassing me.

And at this point I’m getting extremely upset and emotional.

What a jerk!

And he said no I’m the police now.

Whatever that supposed to mean.

I filed a harassment thing with my apartment complex because of this so I could document some paper trail.

My boyfriends at work.

The neighbors seriously sounds crazy.

I don’t know what’s going to happen when he gets home. But these people are crazy.

I’m assuming he’s angry my bf called her a witch but she was being one by the way she was acting and he even apologized after!

I just am upset.

Being accused of something I didn’t do. Would never do.

She’s pretty upset about the whole thing.

When she told me she lost I felt bad, she didn’t accuse me then when she asked me so I just don’t really get it,

This whole thing sucks. I needed to vent. What would you guys do now?

Btw I live in an apartment complex they live in the 2nd floor we are bottom floor I am nice to everybody.

They blast music all day / night from their cars and porches and I never say a word or have ever complained

At this point, I wouldn’t do anything except steer clear of the crazy neighbors and document any interaction with them.

Let’s see how Reddit responded to this story.

Proof is definitely on her side.

Some people are completely unreasonable, so there’s no point in trying to reason with them. The police know she didn’t take the money. Maybe the neighbor didn’t even lose any money. She might just be lying or just not remember where she put it.

The neighbors sound crazy.
