Crazy loud truck nuisance continues.

These aren’t just large custom car stereos pushing massive bass.

These are trucks with commercial public address horn speakers in the bed/back of their trucks.

Concert volume that is so loud, it is impossible to ignore.

This man lives and works in a Hispanic neighborhood.

I live in a company apartment located at the business I manage.

This is across the street from a large Hispanic neighborhood.

I only mention that because I’ve never seen loud speakers in the back of trucks anywhere else.

Is this a new thing? Is it cultural, or the new “cool” thing?

He’s thinking of ways to disrupt the truck’s loud music.

The local police basically let the people that live around here do what they want around here.

I wish there was some type of electronic signal I could send out to disrupt their stereo.

I was told an EMP pulse would damage/destroy every electronic device in a radius, including my stuff.

So, that is out.

I hear they now have small, powerful lasers that are hell on auto paint.

But that is illegal, and I’m not trying to pick a fight with anybody.

But he doesn’t want it to be traced back to him.

I just wish there was some way I could discourage the behavior in some way that could not easily be traced directly back to me.

I know that last part is kinda chicken crap, I can accept that. I am not optimistic.

Ugh! That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially if you live and work in the same area.

What’s worse is that the police seem unwilling to help.

I understand OP for wanting the noise to stop, but trying to secretly interfere with the vehicles could easily turn an annoying situation into a much bigger problem.
