An unbelievable scene unfolded at Keck Hospital of USC where a pilot suffered minor wounds after a helicopter transporting a donor heart crashed on helipad. Firefighters then scrambled to recover the organ, handing it off to doctors on the roof who then proceed to trip and fall, dropping the heart.

Thankfully the donor heart was recovered and the transplant was a success!
