26 year old, Kyle Burgess, went on a 10-mile run this past weekend up Slate Canyon in Provo, Utah when he came across four cougar cubs and tried to film them with his phone. That’s when the cougar mom came out of nowhere and he instantly knew he was in danger.

The protective mom stalked Burgess for 6 harrowing minutes until he hurled a rock at her and she eventually retreated back to her cubs.
