Lazy Lab Partner Refuses To Do Her Share Of The Work, So This Straight-A Student Teaches Her A Lesson
by Heather Hall
Group projects can be frustrating, especially when one person ends up doing all the work while the other coasts by without lifting a finger.
But what if your partner refused to contribute at all, and their lack of effort could hurt your grade? Would you just do the work alone? Or would you find a way to make sure they faced the consequences?
In the following story, a straight-A student faces this very dilemma and decides he’s had enough of his lazy lab partner.
Here’s how it went down.
Not going to do the work
So, I overheard my government teacher tell this story. It wasn’t me or anyone we know, but it’s funny and it fits.
While “Mr G” was in high school, he was lab partners with the vacant type of cheerleader (“Ms. C”).
Mr G was a 4.0 student, and Ms. C refused to do any work.
Here’s where things took an ugly turn.
Mr G told his teacher at the time that he refused to let his grade drop for the lack of his partner’s work.
So one day, they were dissecting a fetal pig, and it was Ms C’s responsibility to remove the digestive system, but she refused to touch the animal.
Mr G opened up the pig, took the digestive system, and threw it right at her.
Yikes! She must’ve screamed pretty loud.
Let’s check out what the people over at Reddit have to say about his actions.
Good point.
Interesting, but this is not everywhere.
Most teachers would not talk like this.
Here’s someone who dealt with a similar situation.
This is a little unorthodox for a teacher.
