I bet this kind of stuff happens all the time…

I’m talking about coffee shop workers messing with the orders of rude customers.

Am I right?

Well, there’s no way to be certain, but this story from Reddit certainly gives us a hint.

Check out what happened!

Be nice to the people who caffeinate you.

“I worked at Starbucks for 2 1/2 years.

My store was in a pretty affluent area, so we often got rude, entitled customers.

This is what happens to rude customers!

I worked the opening shift and was on bar every morning except Saturdays.

A few months in, I started making rude people’s drinks with decaf espresso. I always made the drink perfectly otherwise so that they would never notice a difference.

Hilarious!

Decaf espresso tastes a little different, but the average coffee drinker genuinely can’t tell.

I felt great every time I made a jerk’s day just a little bit worse.

It was even better when I became a trainer and taught everyone I trained to do the same.”

What a sneaky way to get revenge. Those rude customers actually probably needed the caffeine the most.
