Having a roommate usually means agreeing on basic boundaries about shared living spaces.

New roommate’s GF over every night. Am I crazy?
I’m pretty new to roommates (34M). This dude just moved in. He’s very nice, and I like him.
It’s been nearly 2 weeks. He brought a big friendly dog with him that was leaking and dumping on the floor
He has been getting his dog diapers after I addressed it with him.
Although he made a comment about the cost, but I couldn’t care less about the cost.
This man noticed that his roommate had been letting his girlfriend sleep in their apartment for days.
A new small issue is popping up where his GF is over most nights, at least a week straight, spending the nights.
They stay in their room with the door closed, and they are quiet and respectful.
They do wake me up in the morning, because as soon as they get up, they hit their vape and start coughing.
But I feel like I’ll get used to that.
He wants to set boundaries because he didn’t agree to live with 2 other people.
Despite them being respectful, I didn’t sign up for 2 people to move into the apt.
Part of me wants to set boundaries with the frequency of his GF coming.
But they don’t disturb me, so I don’t feel like I can justify that.
Should I ask for them to split utilities 2/3 if she continues to come over 5x+ per week?
Am I being a Karen?
I don’t think OP’s being unreasonable for what he wants. It’s true, he didn’t sign up to live with 2 people.
Since they are otherwise respectful, it would probably be better to have a calm conversation about expectations before resentment builds up.
It sounds like he is a decent person who knows how to raise a concern politely and come up with reasonable solutions.
