A Tyrannical Neighbor Tormented the Entire Block for Years—Until They Handed Everyone a Golden $30,000 Opportunity for Revenge

Some neighbors always seem to cause trouble just for the fun of it.
What would you do if you had a neighbor who was constantly causing trouble when they filed a frivolous lawsuit against you?
That is what happened to the people in this story, so they found a way to rack up $30,000 in expenses that the neighbor had to pay when the ruling went against him.

The best pro revenge I ever saw was against a psycho neighbor (Lets call them FigJam).
Why are some people like this?
FigJam was one of those jerks that would move to a new house, pick fights with neighbors on all sides, move, rinse and repeat…. Because in their eyes, everyone except themselves where the problem.
To give an idea of how big a piece of trash FigJam and his wife were, after 10 years of stirring up trouble with every neighbor they could find, they decided to move out to a new home.
Why would they do something like this?
But they had one last jerk move to pull off as a parting gift. When they where packing up their house, FigJam dropped their birdbath, breaking it to pieces.
Rather then pick it up like a normal person, they instead called the police and said my father had gone over in the middle of the night, with a balaclava and broke their birdbath for no reason.
Some people are just impossible to get along with.
The police came we explained our piece and the police went on their merry way. This happened constantly for over 10 years.
They where just a massive pieces of trash in general.
Let’s see what is happening with them now.
Well one day their neighbor (Jim) over their back fence got a bizarre legal document stating their intent to sue over a tree in their yard who’s roots had supposedly moved 20 meters down the hill to restrict and break their pool pump and the piping for said pump.
So, Jim, in his defense, pulls in a plumber (who happened to be a mate) to dig up the trench and extract said roots for DNA testing in a lab.
Looks like it isn’t their tree after all.
When they did this they spared no expense. We’re talking 15 people on site, we’re talking bobcats, the works to make it the most expensive trench they could.
Funnily enough, the DNA tests proved it was from FigJam’s own tree, which was a lot closer to their pull pump (who’d have thought it??).
I bet they regret filing that lawsuit.
When they lost the case, they where liable for cost of their Jims legal defense and all activities taken to clear his name
The plumber and the lab hit FigJam with a $30,000 bill. For their services. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. Bravo Jim
When you antagonize your neighbors for years, you can expect that they will try to get revenge on you if they can.
