Classroom conflicts can get messy when students compete for the teacher’s attention.
In this story, a woman was accused by a classmate of not washing the dishes on time, even though she had.
Her classmate kept complaining about her to their teacher, so she tried confronting them.
But instead of communicating, the classmate refused to admit any fault and blamed her for not “helping.”
Let’s take a closer look!
AITA for not doing something when asked the first time?
I am in a culinary class.
The other day, I arrived to class, and the teacher asked me to come see them.
They told me that my classmate had texted them saying I did not wash the dishes.
This woman washed the dishes, but not immediately.
The thing is, I did wash the dishes, dried them, and put them away.
I just did not do it right away since I was busy.
They were telling me to clean them while I was busy.
I told them I would do it after I was done.
She refused to help her classmate make noodles because she thought it was easy.
This person is not only a teacher’s pet, but also texts the teacher about everything.
They also said that they had told me they wanted me to help them make something.
That something was noodles.
I figured that they did not need help with that since it is so easy to make noodles.
Eggs and flour, right?
Her classmate told their teacher she did not help at all.
So instead, I went to help the underclassmen with their dish because they asked for help.
I had nothing else to do at the time.
This person texted the teacher saying I did not help them at all.
They also said I waited until they told me three times before I cleaned the dishes.
I also got them the supplies they needed even while helping the underclassmen.
I brought them eggs and the oil that they needed.
So now, she’s wondering if she was at fault in all this?
When I was done being told off, I told the classmate that they should have just come to talk to me.
Instead of saying, “Yeah, maybe I should have,” they said:
“Well, I wouldn’t have had to say anything if you had just done what I asked from the start.”

Short and straightforward.

I bet you’re ready for the school year to end, says this one.

Some classmates will never stop until they see you fall down.
