At certain points in life, we all meet people who LOVE DRAMA.

They love to complain, to harass, to push, prod, poke, and do anything they can to try to start issues with the people around them.

And, to put it bluntly, these people suck!

But sometimes you’re related to them, so you have to deal with them whether you want to or not…

Check out what this guy had to say about his sister-in-law, who seems like a barrel of laughs!

AITA for calling out my SIL?

“I’ve been married for a long time and my SIL and kids have gluten allergies.

At every party or family event we host we go out of our way to accommodate and even cook and buy separate food to make sure they are okay.

I now have a daughter with an egg allergy, and at a recent family event on my wife’s bday they cooked (family vacation) and I asked if the mac and cheese they prepared was made with egg free pasta and cracker crust (to be sure it was ok for her to eat), and my SIL responded in a huff saying “I don’t know, maybe you can figure it out. Check the box or maybe Google it.”

Okay…

It definitely threw me for a loop and I was annoyed but i looked it up and it was okay, so I fed my daughter.

Yet the whole time I did so, I heard my SIL complaining to everyone that I asked about it and swears she told me she made a special batch for our daughter (which she did not, as it was all the same GF pasta).

What’s the big deal…?

After my daughter was done eating she was still talking about it so I asked why she was the one so upset about it.

After saying she couldn’t hear me (twice), I had to in a louder voice restate the initial exchange that irritated me and said “why are you still talking about this? We don’t need all this drama.”

Then I dropped it.

I was still upset since we are so inclusive of their GF crowd, and it bothered me that they either didn’t consider my daughters allergy or didn’t care.

But I also wasn’t looking for a big fight on my wife’s birthday.

Somehow my wife is upset with how I handled it and I have no idea if the rest of the family understands how it went down.

AITA here for my part?”

Is his sister-in-law pleasant or what?

What a charmer!

Actually, I take that back, she’s pretty brutal…

There’s a whole lotta drama going on in this family!
