15 Foods That Never Expire
This isn’t a list of those super-processed packaged or fast foods that last 20+ years. These are basic cooking ingredients and filling foods that provide essential nutrition.
While many of the products have a “best before” or “best by” date, it doesn’t mean they aren’t safe to eat after those dates. In fact, when stored properly, some foods will last for years, decades, or even indefinitely. The key to their longevity is safety as most must be kept in airtight containers, at low temperatures, and away from any moisture.
Just remember, if any food or drink (discussed here or not) is moldy, has a funky odor, or any other tell-tale signs of spoilage, it’s best to just toss it.
