Sculptures Made From Everyday Objects
Many of our readers may recognize the Internet-famous Barrel Monster above. It went viral back in the Summer of 2009. It was created by artist and urban explorer Joe Carnevale. The artistic stunt would eventually get Joe arrested and sentenced with 50 hours of community service. Thankfully this did not deter Joe’s artistic endeavours as he continues with his fantastic and creative sculptures made from everyday objects such as: vacuum cleaners, gardening tools, street signs and of course traffic barrels!
Below you will find a small sample of Joe’s work. We can’t wait to see more sculptures and artwork from Joe and his wonderful imagination.
Made from: two Eureka vacuums, a pair of tail light covers, two broken camera lenses, a coffee maker, an obsolete street signs, and teeth made from wood. All material was discarded.
