In this fantastic closeup by Shikhei Goh we see a beautifully coloured frog wrapping himself around the tip of a plant. You may have seen Shikhei’s stunning macro photography before. His photo of a dragonfly won the grand prize in last year’s National Geographic Photography Contest.

The frog photo was originally featured in National Geographic’s weekly Your Shot wrapper (March – Week 4), which highlights the top rated images from the ‘Daily Dozen’. It was later posted to National Geographic’s Facebook page where it has tallied almost 40,000 Likes since the end of March.
