Set on a secluded hillside retreat high above the Ayung River, the Alila Hotel and Spa, located in the village of Payangan is home to one of the most beautiful infinity (zero edge) pools I’ve seen. The emerald-green swimming pool is matched by the lush vegetation surrounding it.

Alila is located about five kilometers from Ubud, a town that is considered one of Bali’s major arts and culture centers. The photograph was taken by Sean McGrath who stayed here on his honeymoon back in 2007.
