Her Neighbor Has Made Life Unbearable for Her Entire Family—So What Finally Pushed Her to Speak Out?

She didn’t hold back as she described how a neighbor of hers is going out of her way to make everyone’s life miserable.

“I live above a restaurant in a suite (my mom, me, my sister, and my grandma). There’s only one apartment, and we’ve lived here for over 10 years.
The only entrance into our house is through one door that leads to a hallway. In the hallway there are two doors; one that leads to a salon and the other that leads to the stairs of my apartment.
There are two light switches, one directly next to the entrance door in the hallway and one at the top of our stairs.
What was this all about?
About a month or two ago, the salon owner, Stacy sent a text to my mother saying she will be turning the power off every weekend (the only light in our stairwell or its pitch black). My mother was not okay with that, obviously.
I had just gotten surgery and my disabled grandma lives with us, and obviously it’s illegal. She knew when she signed her lease that she would be paying for the electric and she cannot dictate when to turn it on and off since it is a shared hallway.
Our landlord told her she cannot do that and lied to her, telling her that he is making us pay more on our rent. Everything was fine.
She has been blasting music so loud that we can’t hear our own conversations, she has been letting her dog in our backyard to go to the bathroom and doesn’t clean it up, etc.
My friends were over today, as usual. We were leaving to go to the mall so we all went down the stairs that have MAJOR echo and you can head every step.

There is NO being quiet in those stairs even if you try. Well, we all went down and as we make it to the bottom, Stacy is staring at us with her arms crossed while she has a client in her chair.
We just laugh because it was just a little embarrassing. Anyways, we go to my car and then I realize I forgot something up stairs so they go up and grab it. When they come back down, I see Stacy walk out of her salon, shut the light off and then go back in her salon.
I went to go open the door to turn it back on and she locked the door. The only entrance to our house. Thankfully, we have a key hidden but it’s the principal.
I opened the door and went inside and told her she can’t lock that door and we were screaming back and forth and as me and my friend were walking out, she pushes my friend (17) and then slams the door on her while she’s still in it.
Yikes!
My mom told us to call the cops and we did. They showed up we explained it all to them and told them she assaulted a minor. They go and talk to Stacy and she completely lies and says we were banging on the walls of the staircase and knocked her picture off the wall (we have a camera in our staircase to prove her wrong…)
Then my landlord comes and starts to yell at my mom (he’s always been a creep to her, always making weird comments and actively staring at her body).
He basically tells her that it’s all me and my friends fault and he can evict us at any point and some other stuff, saying he’s not taking sides but is CLEARLY taking her side.
This whole situation is wild to me and I just think Stacy gets everything handed to her and everyone around her is forced to cater to her.”
