In this story, one pharmacy employee observed this exact situation happen, but the customer immediately figured out who picked up the medication and gave him a call.
Things escalated from there and led to the police breaking up a fight. Yikes!

“Give me back my kids allergy meds” + Cops Show up. Craziest day at the pharmacy.
Today was the craziest day I’ve ever had at the three letter pharmacy. I’ve been a tech for 5 years and have never had something this crazy happen.
So there is this 10 year old who has allergy meds his name is Jimmy.
For the past few months Jimmy has been refilling his Singular earlier and earlier and his parents are saying he is being shorted, but the 90 pills come in a manufacture bottle so I don’t know how it’s happening.
Here’s what happened.
Today at 10 a man comes through the drive thru for Jimmy’s meds. He picks them up and drives off.
The day goes on and in the afternoon a man comes inside for Jimmy’s scripts and I tell him “Sir someone came by and picked them up already”.
The Man looked irritated but he’s like “I think I know what’s going on”.
Not even 5 minutes later I heard “I want my freaking kids allergy medication back Johnathan!” I open the drive through window and I see him outside yelling into his phone “I’m at the parking lot”.
Here’s what’s been going on.
Side note:So apparently what was going on was that Johnathan is Jimmy’s uncle and he does not have insurance, so he picks up Jimmy’s allergy meds and uses them as he needs. I guess Jimmy’s dad found out and this has been an on going issue.
So Johnathan pulls back up into the parking lot in his tank top and sweats. His eyes were watering, he wasn’t crying his allergies were just acting up.
Jimmy’s dad says “get your own insurance you freaking bum”.
Yikes! That escalated quickly!
Johnathan says somethings back to Jimmy’s dad and then swings at him and start beating Jimmy’s dad up.
He was on top just punching Jimmy’s dad and then he stopped all of a sudden fell to his side crutching his neck. It looked like his throat was closing.
Then Jimmy’s dad starts attacking Johnathan, he had him On floor and was still punching.
Then a cop pulls up and grabs him and says “stop! Stop it! We don’t need this violence”
Look, Johnathan came back. The dad should’ve just taken the medication and left. There’s no need for a fight in the parking lot!

But another person finds the situation funny.

It really is too bad the uncle is so desperate for prescription allergy medication that he’s stealing it from his nephew. Surely, there’s a better way! The uncle is clearly suffering from allergies, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to steal from his family!
What an eventful day at the pharmacy!
