I told my neighbor off because of her smoking behavior.

It happens in an enclosed space that is near my apartment.

I first talked to the manager multiple times. I also talked with her multiple times about it. I said that it is not right to smoke in a shared space.

But she could not stop.

This man didn’t like smoke going into his room.

The smoke is directly coming into my rooms. I do not really like the smoke.

It is really perplexing to me how people could inhale these combinations of putrid smoke.

Why do smokers not just use nicotine patches to get the effects of nicotine? This would avoid inserting these chemicals.

Coming to the main point, I shouted at her. I told her that I could call the police. I asked her how she dares invade my space. I said she did this without any consideration for a shared space.

At one point, I told her she is like a company generating daily industrial waste. And that this waste was going into people’s rooms.

I told her that I do not want even microscopic traces of these chemicals near my room.

I asked her whether she would like it if I came to her room and did something that would cause her discomfort.

She started accusing him of shaming and harassing her.

I guess because she is a woman, she did not take it well.

I was speaking in a high volume.

She told me that she felt dehumanized and shamed.

I apologized at the end. I gave her an ultimatum to continue smoking. I told her to let me know so that I could change a house.

Not everyone can tolerate cigarette smoke.

Dealing with constant smoke in your living space would push anyone to their limit.

But I think raising his voice wasn’t the right solution.
