The Newest Room at Sweden’s Treehotel has an Outdoor Net With a Tree Through It
We first profiled the amazing Treehotel in 2010 and again in 2012. This winter, the luxury nature retreat in Harads, Sweden added a 7th room, and appropriately named it, ‘The 7th Room‘.
Located 10 meters (33 ft) up in pines, The 7th room covers 100 square metres of construction space, of which 75 square metres are living space. The room can accommodate five people and consists of two bedroom, a lounge, bathroom, and shower.
The most striking feature is the outdoor space that features a large outdoor net for you to play and lie on as well as a soaring pine that goes right through the middle.
The 7th Room looks out onto the Lule river. Large panoramic windows face north and along with skylights in the bedrooms, they allow guests to watch the magnificent northern lights.
The 7th Room was completed in 2016 and was designed by Snøhetta. Current listed rates for 5 people is 12 000 – 15 000 SEK per night.
