The Atlantic Road was opened in 1989 and is now toll-free. Chosen as “Norway’s construction of the century” in 2005, the 8.72-kilometre (5.4 miles) long road links together small coastal communities.

December 19th, 2009 at 11:42 pmIt wasn't built this way for nothing. In the U.S., it would be who owns the land that was to be condemned for public use. I suspect there was an old straight road that washe out a lot, and this one accommodates the soil. (Soil mechanics)
