Photographer’s Description [paraphrased from comments]: It’s 00 grade steel wool on a string aka “Firewire”. I used a Canon 60D with a Samyang 14mm lens 5 sec exposure, 400 ISO, f/5.6. Shot in a random drainage tunnel in San Dimas, California. No extra lights, no flash, just steel wool on a string on fire.
