This Augmented Climbing Wall Lets You Play Pong Against Your Friends
Augmented Climbing Wall is the world’s first interactive game platform for climbing walls. The patent pending system is a product of Valo Motion, a game developer and hardware manufacturer based in Finland.
The system currently has five games and applications:
Augmented Problems: route creation, sharing and climbing with video feedback
Whack-A-Bat Whack-A-Bat: gamified endurance trainer and all-round fun bat splatting
Sparks: shockingly enjoyable mazes with static and moving levels
Climball: engaging two-player ballgame with both competitive and co-operative game modes
Astromania: save the world from blazing fireballs
The system uses a projector, depth sensor, and computer with proprietary ‘secret sauce’ to make it all work. Just check out the two embedded vids below to get a feel for it. You can learn more at their official website augmentedclimbing.com
