The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) currently spans 23 films, with at least eight more in various stages of development. Throughout those films we’ve seen fan-favourites undergo incredible character arcs.

In fact, it’s those very arcs and storylines that have made the franchise such a global cultural phenomenon. Video editor and popular YouTuber Slyfer2812 has amassed nearly 50 million views for his fan-made trailers and edits; and his ongoing series of MCU character arc videos have done an excellent job of capturing the essence of what makes each character’s storyline so endearing and compelling.
