Here’s a cool snap, an adolescent blue jay (or however you want to describe this bird maturing from a baby to an adult) transitioning from its baby down feathers to its stunning blue adult feathers.
The blue jay (Cyanocitta cristata) is a passerine bird in the family Corvidae, and native to eastern North America.
