A bad day at work can be downright terrible, but fortunately everything doesn’t go wrong in one day.
Unless you’re the person in this story.
Check out how hard her day was.
Hope your holidays are going well!
I work in the bakery department of the flagship grocery store of my company. My manager checked our sales an hour ago and we were just over $300k.
Here’s a list of things were out of: gingerbread cookies, gingerbread house kits, rolls, pumpkin bread, canned pumpkin, cheesecake, danish packs and more.
Her list of other problems is even longer.
I’ve had people yell at me for being out of something and hit me with carts.
Another customer ran into a display of decorative cups and just walked away after.
I watched customers hit wine displays and walk away.
We ran out of shopping carts and hand baskets and I’ve seen people take other people’s carts with groceries in them.
She was upset her for these reasons, too.
My district manager came in for a “surprise visit.” I almost broke our bakery oven.
I ran into my ex and didn’t recognize him because I’m so out of it.
Yet my shift is only half over!
I hope your days are better than mine. Happy holidays!
Here is what folks are saying.
It would take discipline not to!

I don’t know why!

I hope no one gets laid off.

This must be exhausting.

True! Many would be mortified.

That’s one heck of a bad day.
