This time of year is great, especially if you’re lucky enough to get time off work to celebrate the holiday season.

But there are drawbacks too, many of them in work-related form.

Forced Christmas parties and pressure to take part in things like Secret Santa can be too much for some, while others revel in the holiday spirit.

But for the employee in this story, there was one thing about this time of year that was worse than everything else.

Read on to find out what it is.

It’s that time of year again

December has come around, and that only means one thing.

Does anyone else absolutely roll eyes so hard you see the future when you get the ‘invite’ for the yearly ‘anonymous survey’?

Let’s see why this survey bothers him so much.

It always says that ‘leadership really care about your feedback’…

They claim it’s optional and anonymous, but somehow they know if you don’t fill it out.

I immediately deleted that and will wait for someone to mention I didn’t fill it out.

It’s clear that this guy has had long-held bad feelings about his workplace.

And if he’s feeling this way, it’s probably time to jump ship.

Maybe he’ll feel more valued elsewhere?

Let’s see what folks on Reddit thought about this.

This person agreed that these ‘anonymous’ surveys are nothing of the sort.

While others were actually eager for the opportunity to make their feelings quite clear.

Meanwhile, this Redditor explained how they can be used for collective pressure.

Sure these surveys are annoying – and it’s wrong to claim they’re anonymous if they’re not – but at least it’s an opportunity to get your point across.

But it’s also important not to be too harsh or say anything that could have a negative impact on your career.

Unless you want to leave of course.

In which case, don’t hold back!
