Some neighbors can make living next door a little uncomfortable.

This teenager has been dealing with some unusual behavior from their neighbors who recently moved into the area. It started with a fence-related issue and soon became more uncomfortable due to inappropriate acts. With other concerns, he believes staying in the area isn’t the most ideal living situation.

This story is one of those neighbor situations where several small issues seem to pile up into one very uncomfortable living situation. Read the full story below. It’s a relatable experience for those who are living in a neighborhood with difficult neighbors.

Odd redneck neighbors took the fence down.. Storytime!

My neighbors moved from Oregon or Seattle, I think, and they are… well, okay.

They wanted to put up a new fence in their yard, some metal plates, or whatever. That’s fine.

I didn’t care until they knocked our fence down and took the poles out of the ground with it.

My dad was very upset about it because he had just painted the fence the month prior.

He had to build an entirely new fence and buy more poles. The neighbor only paid half of the cost or none.

I can’t remember which but I don’t think it was fair for them to not pay for the full cost of the supplies because they were the ones who knocked the fence down.

This teenager had witnessed the neighbors doing adult acts in their outdoor hot tub.

I am a teenager and I have, unfortunately, caught them doing adult acts in their backyard in their hot-tub.

I have no problem with them having adult acts in general, but in the hot-tub?

Next door are people with kids. The neighbors on the other side of their house have a few children ranging from elementary to high school.

They were also being loud when doing it. Like guys, please do that inside!

He can’t wait to move out because of the quality of their current neighborhood.

The same neighbors also have tinfoil covering all their windows which is kind of crazy but not as crazy as other people in the community.

We live in a hood/gang violence area, sadly. The quality of our town has gone down.

It used to be a nice place to raise a family, but not anymore. I can’t wait to move out 😭😭

Neighbors are also extremely talkative. I try to avoid them at all costs.

The fence issue alone was already frustrating, since OP’s family was not informed of the neighbor’s plans to take it down. The other inappropriate behavior definitely added to the major concerns. I agree that homeowners are entitled to their privacy, so the neighbor should be more mindful of what can be seen and heard from their home.

Let’s look at the comments of other Redditors.
