Few things test your manners like a stranger demanding your seat in the middle of dinner.

One diner was enjoying a solo meal at an Italian restaurant when a crazed woman stormed up asking about lost glasses and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The diner had already politely checked the bench and the table, found nothing, and said so, but the woman insisted she move so she could look herself.

The diner understandably put her foot down, and the manager was forced to kick the woman out.

But before leaving, the stranger took her picture without consent and vowed to make her “go viral.”

You’ll want to keep reading — this one’s pretty crazy.

Lady ticked I won’t let her snoop around my food.

Recently went to a nice Italian restaurant to treat myself. Ordered a few dishes so the table was full.

That was when the diner noticed something rather unusual.

As I’m carving my way through my chicken parm, I notice a guy come in and glance at the unoccupied seat across the table from me, and then leave.

Things soon got even weirder.

Out of nowhere, a lady storms in and asks me if I found her glasses.

The diner tried to help the lady look, but that seemed to only aggravate her more.

The seats were basically wooden benches, so I would have seen them.

I looked down to double-check and told her no. Didn’t see any glasses.

At this point, she tells me to move so that she can check.

Finally, things started to make a little more sense.

The guy from earlier turns out to be her husband. He told her it was dumb to make me move, since she wasn’t even sitting in the seat I was sitting in.

She was forced to finally put her foot down.

I told her I didn’t feel comfortable with her looking for her glasses around my food.

The restaurant soon had to get involved too.

Eventually, a manager came back and said that he already looked for the glasses himself when they called, and that she needs to leave.

But not before one last rude outburst from the stranger.

Lady snapped a picture of me before she left and said she was going to make me and the restaurant “go viral.”

At least I got free dessert from the restaurant because of it.

Here’s hoping this innocent diner’s likeness isn’t plastered all over social media by now.

What did Reddit think of this wacky story?

In all likelihood, this lady’s glasses are probably somewhere extremely obvious.

This user shares a similar story, although with much higher stakes.

This sort of thing seems to happen more than one might think.

Losing items has been known to induce panic.

Nobody orders a plate of chicken parm expecting a hostage negotiation, which is exactly what happened here.

Obviously, this stranger was unwell, but that doesn’t excuse her rudely bursting in and ruining this innocent diner’s meal.

If she needs to find her glasses, she can ask politely like a normal person.
