She doesn’t deserve that.

She needs to learn to take no for an answer.
All those feelings can’t just be pushed away to deal with when it’s more convenient.
They definitely regret not listening.
Just getting a “good job” is no longer enough.
If the person deflects, you know it will cause issues in the future.
