She called me selfish and said that I gave them no other option but to take her, and they didn’t want to have her over.
Jeez, all these new parents wanted was some peace and quiet!
She’s also not very reliable in cold weathers/ fog etc.
Asking to babysit is one thing. Demanding free childcare is another.
She needs to let it go.
No amount of tradition can outweigh her belief in a healthier future for her children.
Sounds like they want to play the grandparent card, but the deck they’ve dealt her is one of betrayal, not family.
