The Sifter has covered plenty of insane properties in the past (see here and here and here), but the mega-mansion in the exclusive Pozuelo de Alarcón neighbourhood of Madrid by A-cero Architects is making its bid for the crown of most over-the-top property. When properties reach this size, the number of sitting areas increases exponentially. My guess is that people need to take breaks on their journey from one side to the other

The massive sculpture in the yard is incredible!

It is rumored that the stones above are lit on fire and guests are forced to ‘run the gauntlet’ should the owner become displeased.

The design is exceptional, but as a home, I can’t imagine how you could live in such a large place. Is there such a thing as too big?

Regardless of size-preference, this library is just perfect

Although it’s cut-off, I would hope this image only shows a quarter of that bed, otherwise I’m not impressed
