LOOKING SKYWARD IN DÜSSELDORF

In this wonderful photograph by Adam Dobrovits we look skyward, up the stainless steel facade of the Neuer Zollhof complex in Düsseldorf, Germany designed by Frank Gehry.

The building complex consists of three separate buildings. The tallest building is 14 stories high and just under 50 m tall. Each building has a different facade cladding – the outer two in white plaster and red brick respectively; the central building’s stainless steel facade (featured above) reflects material and shapes of its two neighbour buildings.
