Commuters in Seattle’s neighbourhood of Belltown have reported an unexpected rider in their midst, a 2-year old Black Labrador named Eclipse. The oft unaccompanied dog roams the aisles before finding herself a window seat so she can see the dog park and get off at the stop. KOMO News investigated the claims and produced the segment embedded below.

The dog’s owner, Jeff Young, said it all started when they were waiting for the bus one day and he was smoking a cigarette when the bus arrived at their stop. Without hesitation Eclipse boarded, leaving her owner to finish his smoke. Four stops later she got off at the park and was on her way.
