In Peru You Can Sleep Like a Condor, in a Floating Nest 1200 ft High
1,200 ft above the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru you will find three transparent, hanging skylodges with incredible views and the unforgettable experience of sleeping on the side of a mountain. To get there you can either climb up or hike to a nearby zipline and cruise in to your ‘nest’.
Opened in 2013, the Skylodge Adventure Suites have a total capacity of 8 people. The 24x8x8 ft capsule is made out of aerospace aluminum and weather resistant polycarbonate. Each suite comes with four beds, a dining area and a bathroom.
Each suite offers 300 degree views and the toilet and sink are of the ‘dry ecological’ variety. Each dome has curtains for privacy but you’ll want to keep the top uncovered so you can gaze at the stars above.
