In this interesting map of the world we see where our trees grow. More specifically, we see the world’s forest cover density as a percentage (using data from 2010). In this scenario, ‘trees’ are defined as vegetation taller than 5m (16.4 ft) in height.

The map was recently shared by astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield on Facebook.
