Impatience on the road can take you places faster, but it won’t always be a smooth journey.

One tailgater’s relentless honking ended with a loud, painful reminder of what lies ahead when you don’t slow down.

Read on for this satisfying tale of petty revenge!

Honk and down you will go.

A couple weeks ago, I was returning home on my motorcycle.

But it wasn’t a peaceful journey.

As I was passing through a narrow road, a car behind me was honking to get me to give way.

This motorist knew the road well, so decided to stay cautious.

Since it was a narrow road, I had to be careful and slowly shift to the side.

But you couldn’t say the same for the driver behind them.

But this impatient jerk was honking profusely, which irritated me.

Little did the driver know, there was a massive obstacle in front of them.

Since I drive through this road daily, I knew that up ahead was a massive pothole due to pipeline maintenance work.

So, I decided to move to the side to avoid it.

So the driver messed around and found out.

This made the car speed up — and it hit the pothole.

The “bham!” sound that the inside of the car made was like music to my ears.

Take that, jerk!

Reddit is sure to get a kick out of this one.

It’s funny when tailgaters suddenly realize it’s not a race.

Some tailgaters simply will stop at nothing to get their way.

The impatient driver thought he knew better than the motorcyclist ahead of him, but karma showed him otherwise.

The car may have hit the bump hard, but the driver’s ego took an even bigger dent.
