Golf Course Employee Kept Blowing Grass Clippings Into His Flowerbeds All Summer—So He Finally Had Enough

Sharing a property line with a golf course sounds peaceful in theory, right up until someone on their maintenance crew decides your flowerbeds make a convenient dumping ground.
One homeowner had already put in the work to clearly understand his property boundaries, years of landscaping, deck building, and studying local ordinances to make sure everything lined up correctly.
For a while, the course’s mowing routine caused zero issues, using equipment that mulched grass evenly instead of blasting it elsewhere.
But one summer, that all changed, with the same crew switching to a mower that consistently blows clippings directly into his yard, all while apparently still using the gentler method on other neighbors’ property lines.

My neighbor is actually a golf course.
The first couple years I lived in this house, I wasn’t sure where the property line really was, so I actually was cutting a lot of the course’s grass.
The boundary was a little hazy at first, but eventually the homeowner learned.
After extensive landscaping, including building decks and learning Township ordinances and building codes, I became very familiar with where my property ends and the golf course begins.
My property runs parallel to a cart path, not an actual green.
Soon his neighbor had their own strategy for the landscaping, and it was quite different than what he was used to.
The last few years the golf course began cutting the grass, and they used a typical landscaper’s mulching mower. No big clumps of grass getting blown 10 feet across a yard, just mulched and settled back down.
He soon made a bit of an enemy with the person on the golf course cutting the grass.
This summer the one running these mowers has decided that instead of using that machine, which is still used on other neighbors’ property lines, is now using what looks like an extra large normal riding mower vented to blow all the grass into my flowerbeds.
It’s starting to feel just plain intentional at this point.
He never mows facing the other direction, which would be the cart path, he only mows so it blows into my yard.
This is in Ohio. I have left multiple messages to the course manager who has not called me back. What would you do?
It may not be illegal, but it sure is rude.

Honestly at this point, screenshots and video are going to be this homeowner’s best friend.
This homeowner needs to start building a solid case here, instead of just asking someone to take his word for it. Unreturned calls only go so far, but timestamped video of the mower actively blowing clippings into his flowerbeds is a lot harder to brush off or ignore.
It’s a frustrating situation for sure, but hopefully relief is just around the corner.
It’s hard not to take something like this personally.
