It’s bad enough when you have to deal with ONE loud neighbor, but how would you feel if there was a whole group of people who were disrupting your life and making all kinds of racket?

I know I’d be losing my marbles!

That’s what this woman is dealing with and she’s not sure how much more she can take of this situation.

Apartment hallway neighbors kids scream and cry for hours on end every day.

“It’s midnight and I’m at my limit.

I’m currently in a not so great living situation with my mother, grandmother, and younger sister, in a home where three of us sleep and live in the living room and my grandmother gets the only bedroom.

Oh, great…

About 3 months into living here, I overheard from my grandmother that the people who used to live above us got kicked out of that apartment due to noise complaints and were then going to move directly next to us.

And ohh… my goodness… both kids are probably younger than 8 but older than 3, and they scream and cry all day.

This sounds terrible.

They wail, howl, bawl, all of it.

My mother can’t sleep and she works early in the morning, my sister starts high school soon and can’t sleep, I can’t sleep. (My grandmother sleeps fine. She has her own room with a door she can close.)

Everyone in my family is letting this slide because they feel bad for the family, and while I do feel empathy myself I don’t think it should come at the expense of living comfortably and getting basic sleep at night.

Somebody has to do something about this…

I don’t know what to do.

Do I ask my grandmother for the landlord’s number and tell him?

Do I write a letter and tape it on their door?

What should I say?

Please help me as I genuinely break down into aggravated tears every day because of how many hours this goes on for.”
